Description
Here you can see the old toll house where travelers would have to stop and pay a toll to use the road which in those days was dirt and stone so as you can imagine it was horse and cart or pony and trap. This is one of the landmarks in our area of Chard in Somerset, UK.

Toll House! Now I understand! Now, all I need to know is why they call them "Toll House Cookies!" Were they like 18th century tracking devices? Awe, no, really this is great! I really love daffodils, and the thatched roof. I am beginning to feel my roots! Thanks for the image, I really did enjoy it.

There is something special in England...the flowers ? the sky ? the pubs (lol !) ? I don't know exactly but I know I like this country even if I don't know this part of your country. In my opinion your excellent photo reflects the English atmosphere.
