the 16th anniversary of my dad's death, today.
this is a nod to him and a joke we shared about "marshmelons".

it's been 10 years since I lost my Mother... doesn't get any easier... there always on your mind and life just doesn't feel right without them.... and then, you look at what has happened... to me, 911 was the year my Mom left, so I can think she didn't see that and what my life's been like since... Do you ever sit when no one is around and try your hardest to remember his laughter and keep playing it in your head to where you laugh so hard tears come to your eyes and ya can't breath? Try it some time... just make sure you're alone... ya don't want to end up in the funny farm - people have wanted to put me there for a long time, but I keep hiding their phone books - lol

Sorry for you sad loss, our Dads are so specialy to us aren't they. I am sure he is looking down and feeling so proud of you now. I do understand as I miss my Dad each day and he has been gone for 26 years last month. take care, hugs Jane xx
