Description

There are many birds I can identify, but there are many more I can’t. As I was preparing this photo the name “nuthatch” popped into my head. I did a Google image search, and there were pictures of this bird. Thing is, I remember pretty well when I learned the name of any given bird, but I have no such memory for this one. I’m sure I picked it up somewhere, but it feels like this name came to me by telepathy, or something. Oh, well. At least my mind seems to be getting more entertaining with age!

This is fabulous! The usual nuthatch 'pose'...Love watching these energetic little birds in the trees searching for food. This is certainly going in my favs!
