Description

the title is a old saying around here. i do not hear it much anymore. guess it old and the new generation do not say that any more. They will say things that make me wonder if the speak English but hey we did that when we was growing up and now I old. took this on 3/09/11 at Lake Martin. i did not see the mommy and these may be still to young for her not to keep a eye one. I counted around 27 of these baby alligators. i did get out the truck and took these shots. I was looking for the big one but did not see it. Hope they live a good life. i meet people that would like to see them all dead. they do not understand nature and how it works. If it was not for the gators at Lake Martin the birds would not come and build it nests. The gators are there to kill the small mammals that would climb the trees to eat the eggs. gators also keep a check on turtles and other animals too. more people worry about the fishing that the gators will eat. They eat fish yes but I se the fishermen pull out a lot of fish too. I meet one man who say he had to get out the boat to fix something and as he was trying to get back in the boat his nine year old keep pushing him back in for fun. He looked and saw a big gator four yards away from him. I wish i could tell him it was his false for not making sure the area was clear and teaching his son that too. Went you out in the woods you out in the animals home land and you need to respect that. The animals do not have any respect for you for they fear you. RR is having problems this after noon so that why many people could not comment . please come back and comment later if this problem still there.

Stark lighting contrast in this foto, Jock. You could have taken some of those 27 baby gators home with you and the mother would have never known the difference. Renderosity was really slow yesterday, and I had to wait until late at night before I could leave any comments.

What a cool shot Jock! I wonder if the Mom still watches out for them, or if they are on their own now.

It's funny how cute they look now, but when they grow up... I couldn't agree more on your comments about when you enter the animal's homes. It's sad that people can be so short-sighted they don't even stop to think what it is that's making their own lives possible.
