Abandoned gold-rush mineshaft at Georgetown, Colorado, USA.
They got the gold and we got, you guessed it, "the shaft"....
Shooting into a flooded dark "cave" was much more difficult than anticipated....
of the 15 attempted captures this is the only one that almost worked.

An intriguing image. Your words remind me of the old Jerry Reed tune, "She got the gold mine, I got the shaft". ;-) Looks like hard rock mining. Tough going for miners chipping away with picks, compressed air drills, and even dynamite.
