Lovely render, Great colors the foreground looks like a painting! Oh for the floaty look, I've seen that before, its just something weird in the way the program ray traces the light. What worked for me when I had that happen in Bryce was to put something under the water to make a small amount of extra shadow show just under the floaty edge. If your water isn't transparent enough for it to show, (I'm not sure how later versions of Vue handle water) you might try adding a tiny touch of post work.
