Thanks for all the comments..-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
About myself.. I was born in 1966. Survived Cancer in 1996 and 1999 and am happy to be still around..
I am in the extra years now.. stopped working for others (government) in 2000 and after a couple of years doing absolutely NOTHING.. I started some compagnies myself ..
I own a Boat Compagny here in The Hague (tourists) and a Model Agency for Tall  Models (young ladies over 1m90/6f3).All in All I enjoy Life to the Max..
The last few years have been extremely good for me. And for that I am very very grateful.
So often before I go to sleep I think to myself.. "I have no pain".. and I enjoy these moments.. as it was different in the past.. and it will be different in the future.. but for now... All is ok !
Had a complete medical check in january 2011. All is ok indeed. Good news to start a year with :D
Although i have heard of people who dropped down for the last time within a week after having heard such good news from a doctor.... We never can be sure.. but at least I hope I have a smile on my face when I go.. as it is and was a good life

Started to work with Poser in 2003.. Poser 4 that was. Now I use Poser 9 and DAZ 4.9. But a computer crash in March 2016 makes it impossible for me now to make art. Hope to be able to buy a new (fast, steady) pc in 2017.
Joined Rendersity in 2002 in search of info about Poser. but never visited the site again (forgot about it) until many, many years later (2007). Now I am here often.
Enjoying the great work made by many great artists.. When .. in winter .. there is time.. I try to see as much of your work as possible.. It's a joy to see all the creativity !
Maybe .. in winter 2017 I will try DAZ 4.9 (or 5 when it arrives....) First a new season on the Canals of my city.. The 8th ... amazing how time flies

12 september 2021. I have posted my last image here. I can not believe what happened to RenderoSity Once it was full of great artists commenting on eachothers posts.. now it is silent.. and all who were once here seem to have gone.. I wish those who are still a bit alive all the best. May life be good to you.

Great photo here Chris, and your point is well made about how things change over time. It was very enjoyable to read the rich history of this area and hopefully they can resolve that sewage situation one day.

Nope, nothing does stay the same--including us! Some of that is a good thing, some is not. I'm way behind on looking and commenting on folks' postings. I may not comment on every one because my recent surgery limits my time at a computer, but I will definitely look at them and enjoy them and try to make a couple of comments.

It's always a shame when we see history being destroyed just so a few people can make money but I also can understand a city having to grow. It must get pretty smelly with people allowing sewerage to drain into the canals. Great picture and I appreciate the history you include with your photos !!

Fantastic shot again, you took marvelous photo, beautiful place!

GREAT SERIES ABOUT YOUR TOWN

A lovely clear capture but a shame about the canals. It is always hard when things are taken down especially when you are attached to them.

Yes, it is a shame to lose the old historical buildings. Very nice history you have given and a great shot.

In the Belgariad, one of my favorite authors, David Eddings, has one of the characters describe the stench of a harbor town by the fact that all the water is irresistible and that people are drawn to throw everything in. I've heard that Venice has similar issues. Great picture and sad that the windmills all had to go.

what was the "in thing" yesterday is so much unnecessary baggage today.same way here.of course many of the old buildings has asbestos and getting rid of them is a service to mankind
