Description
According to my dictionary, it can also be spelled Woodie.
Captured 6/5/10, at the beautiful 25th Annual HB Concours, held at the beautiful Huntington Beach Central Park in beautiful Huntington Beach, California.
Better viewed full size.
Other than not painted red, this has Marilyn written all over it. It's what she and her dude surfer buddies go tooling around Huntington Beach in, while seeking good surfing and party spots.
Just in case you're wondering, that's a 1939 Ford Deluxe Woody in the background of the top picture, and a rad hood ornament in #4.
Adieu, thankx for clicking on, and for any and all favs and laudatory comments.

I can hear the 'Beach Boys' from here! lol This is so cool... And that hood is awesome BUT while brilliant and I WOULD Have it in a shot it would, due to our Nazi laws. be banned here! Doing what you'd like on your own things is not allowed anymore in Britain.. Excellent Harry.. Thanks :-) Rob

I do remember these from my childhood...used to see them a lot in the beach areas of southern California! And I can easily see Marilyn behind the wheel! Great work on these shots, Harry!

Love these old woodies. There must have still been enough old coachmakers working in the late 1930s and early 1940s to keep these fabulous cars in production. Just right for Marilyn!
