Description
Leonard Nimory of the Original STAR TREK turned 80 years old on 3.26.2011.... I thought it was only fitting to make a LIVE LONG AND PROSPER upload to honor the actor.... Spock was a strange character - he wasn't ever supose to smile or lie, but when he did, people loved it... the odd thing for me is, Spock was a cold character, but there is not one person I've come across in life that didn't like him - Great Character, great actor.... I met Nimoy when I was in grade school, with in a year after Star Trek was cancelled, he had thousands of people wanting his autograph he scribbled his name so fast and all you saw him do was signing for about a half hour as fast as he could and wiping the sweat from his forehead - lol - so yeah, I've seen Spock sweat in real life - lol

nice dedication...I think they still liked him even if he seemed cold because they knew it was the "vulcan way" and not him personally and because deep down most of us dont like the human "drama" some personalities bring to the table 24/7. So his calculating seemingly cold persona was a respite for some lol

I have a friend that has called me Leonard Nimory for years.. lol I guess she thinks its a play of words on my name, but she is the only one that could get away with that. Nice work and Happy Birthday to him, I use to watch the show with my dad all the time growing up.

Yes Magik, I know Shatner is Canadian... Kirk is Ontarian - I think... and Leonard Nimoy is not a half breed human after all - lol

Djeeee, never know this, and you have his autograph, Wauw... I want it...yes...!! I whas very small, when I fist saw Star Trek, every sunday afternoon at 15:00 we are all sitting by the TV, and view it. We where the first ones with color tv, so the room whas full of Kids...lol...;) and keep the comments going Mike, you make me smile...;)
