This i think was my last walk for a while,we have been walking the last 28yrs to keep fit & enjoyed it as you can see so much more, Also with doing 4to 5 days a week since retiring doing a average of 10 miles a day, but now it seems i have worn out my hips, which is very frustrating,& very painful.
this pic i took while doing the walk on the Somerset Levels last Weds, you can see in the distance, CogLoad junction, i think the Train was the Bridgewater to Taunton local,

A wonderful shot dear Pat. I am sure you will get well enough to walk in the not to distant future. Take heart. Hugs. Di. xx

Very sorry to hear that you will not be able to walk like you used to. I've been enjoying your photo journeys.

Sad news Pat, but heed your body, take it easy for a while and hopefully 'short' walks will be a part of the healing process.I have so enjoyed our strolls around your local landmarks.Do take care and follow Doctors orders...I'm sure we are going to enjoy photos of Bern, making your dinner, doing the housework, fetching you a cup of tea...... :-) Will be thinking of you, take care...

They can be fixed! Two elderly friends of mine have had three hip replacements between the two of them, while in their late 80s. This couple are now well into their 90s and only one of them has started using a cane once in a while. Just amazing!
