Description

Bryce7Pro/Photoshop All items created in Bryce.Droids are a new model created from various new shapes etc.,textured in a custom ship texture combining a modified fall texture and a techno texture(each created in the DTE).For battle scarring on some areas I combined the camo texture with a damaged metal ship texture(used as a bump-map only). The twisted metal and damaged walls are lattices created using templates created in Photoshop and imported into the Terrain Editor...the metal is textured in a Seriously Real Material(Daz3D),the walls are textured in a custom texture created from photos from CGTextures(applied as a layer over the template layer and saved seperately). The terrain texture is another Seriously Real texture.Sky,light and atmo are custom.Three spheres textured in a modified nebula volumetric create the fire, three spheres rendered in a modified smog volumetric create the smoke. Two radial lights(orange) create the glow of the fire on the droids.Postwork in Photoshop involved a levels boost, laser gunfire, additional carbon scoring, engine glows, signature and resizing. Thanks for taking the time to view, and any comments you wish to leave!

Excellent scene. I really like the semi-organic look of the droids- the mats are perfect. The bent metal lattice work is great. This would be awesome as an animation.

Very nice! I especially like the flames and the lighting from it. The textures on the droids are great, too. I was waiting to read how you did the gunfire in Bryce, but I see there you went to Photoshop. Not that there's anything wrong with that...

That is so cool! I love the look of the gunfire, it's really tough to get those kinds of effects in Bryce. Superb work!

Very cool models - clearly they do not conform to the same aerodynamic principles as on Earth...
