Description
Compare both. Both same chararcter and same set.
Left: one distant lighting and rendering set.
Right: 2 spot lighting and rendering set.
What do you think which is better left or right?

Depends on what you are trying to do. I like cooler images so my personal tastes would favor the left more in general... but that doesn't mean I'd want to use it for everything.

I too will go with right. The face is better lit. I would regard it as a draw otherwise.

It's tough, the left one does seem to be more realistic, but I like the softer, more even light on the right. If I have to choose, I say the left, the shadows on her torso are better.

The lighting on the right pic seems a bit flat. I would go for the left one.
