I find the various interpretations curious, Monica. I guess I am the only one who sees the sorceress as the spectral figure outside the window in the shadows. I see the woman with the knife as a pawn being controlled by her. Since I am the only one, I am probably wrong, but that window and its associated imagery (including the light cascading onto the floor)is my favorite part of the image. As always, Monica, a superb piece of work.

Great play going on here between the 3 characters. I do hope the jealous one is stopped, but somehow I doubt she will be, knowing how these things go. :) Great creepy atmosphere and just amazing little details really make this a fantastic image!
