Description

Did this from a photo for the girlfriend's birthday. From the web site: "In 1808, West Quoddy Head Light became the easternmost lighthouse in the United States. Its light and fog cannon warned mariners of Quoddy's dangerous cliffs, ledges, and Sail Rock. After automation in 1988, the light station became part of adjacent Quoddy Head State Park, as far east as you can drive in the U.S." Terrain and clouds from Terragen. Lighthouse, fence, and driftwood I created in Inspire Modeler. Grasses from 3DPLANTS.COM's freebies.

Nicely done! I especially like sense of motion in the sea grasses near the upper fence. What a great touch.

Thanks, I was very pleased with the end result. I suppose I could have been energetic and figured out the grasse myself, but after fighting the fence (Modeler has a 64K limit on points)... The girlfriend was pretty happy as well. ;')

I like this picture. The soft sand color is spot-on...
