Gee, heh heh, I forgot all about these.
Captured 4/21/09, early in the AM, within walking distance of my hackneyed haven.
Much better viewed full size.
If nothing else, I know these are not roses.

This just jumps out from the thumbnails. Superb color, detail, and light. The white is beautifully captured, its brightness undiminished yet still with amazing detail and texture. I love it against the dark green. Beautiful detail of the purple markings and the pistils and stamens. Gorgeous image!
