Misty was a best friend to both Glenda and I (Mostly Glenda though) for over 17 years. She was not a pure bred or a show dog, but she was the best possible dog we could have ever owned. She was blessed with good health for most of her life. Her last 6 months she ended up deaf, but that didnt seem to bother her very much, it was noticable when I got home from work and she was still sleeping in the bedroom instead of meeting me at the door. Last fall she got seriously ill and was suffering horribly. She was too old to consider surgery so it was time to say a very painfull goodbye. Misty filled such a giant place in both our hearts. Even the 2 cats, Bear and Sassy went thru a period of seeming lost when Misty never came home.

Animal pets, when you have multiples, seem to bond with each other as well as their Humans, an amazing thing. I've had several K9 best friends in my life as well as Cats when I was Married. Super dedi to your Pal. Peace

Misty was so pretty & sounds as if a joy to live with. It is so very hard to loose a friend, 17 what an amazing age, all those wonderful memories. I believe the other animals in the house always miss the one that has to leave us.xxx

What a wonderful,tribute to our pet Misty. She will be remembered forever. We were really blessed to have such a loving and devoted pet. I believe she knew just how much we loved and admired her. She was so easy to train to do varies things. Then when she learned how to count that was priceless.3 treats before she would go about her business!! Thanks Jim for this lovely dedication!!
