Description

This morning around 11, since the weather was good enough, I went down the ditch in Bozzano to see the movement of bees and wasps. I see approaching a couple of butterflies that fly off when I go back vedono.Fatta some photos along the ditch, where I had left the car. Upon entering the car I see approaching the butterfly in the photo that sits nearby. I take the camera and try to get closer, but she escapes and comes to rest at 1 meter. I approach slowly and I can make the photo (only one). Not the 'I followed, I like to wait for the butterfly is closer to me. Only a matter of time (and flowers). From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Gonepteryx rhamni LINNAEUS, 1758, is a moth of the family Pieridae, found in Europe and Asia. It is one of the earliest butterflies wintering in the state of adult protection in natural cavities: the first flying individuals already in February. Sexual dimorphism is marked: males have a beautiful lemon yellow color while the females are almost white. The caterpillar feeds on buckthorn (Rhamnus catharticus).
