Description

The raven...a well known bird throughout history. Many cultures have the raven as a part of their stories, for good or ill. In the Norse stories, they represent thought and memory. In the Irish and Welsh stories, they represent war and the battlefield. In many Native American stories, ravens are tricksters and/or creators. They are also wayfarers for the dead, one of the few animals that travel between our world and the next, which is probably why they feature so prominently into our history. There are many guises of the raven. So, which does this mask conceal? One...or perhaps all... Zoom in for larger size.
