Wow Barb, this kind of perspective must have been a real challenge. The direct gesture accompanied by the casual but insistent gaze is remarkably effective at merging the viewer with the image and thus making it real. Your outstanding background enhances this effect and weaves a place I would love to be. I think it should be the book jacket cover for 'Huckleberry Finn' (I know he is a bit old for the role but it still works for me), but that is just me. Being in the 'Romance' genre you doubtless have other plans, and more power to you. Well done!
