Description

The azaleas were lovely. ZOOM~~ IT is big!! I just now noticed I missed the top of the spire. I have it in a different image. humph! and hmmmm! might have to see if I can merge them someday. I was trying to capture The sea of pink, with the building in the background. I do not remember all the names of places we saw, too many in one day. :) But I do remember this was across, from where we went to see the river. And not far from the French Market. Really was a fun time. :)

Gorgeous image Cheryl! The sea of pink is far more impressive than the spire, so I wouldnt change anything here. It is an impressive looking structure though.

It's the Saint Louis Cathedral in Jackson Square. I only know that because I was looking up the apartment buildings that I'm going to post next. I love this shot, and your idea to set the cathedral in a bed of flowers. Beautiful capture!
