Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Amazing... I really enjoy the driftwood on your beaches. At Tara & Bills beach are also so many... It just begs to be photographed and you did a stellar job!

I think that you are not as far north as Bill and Tara but this is what I liked best of the Pacific coast line. Super shot and low POV. Dana

News reports have said that devris from the disaster in Japan will be drifting ashore on the West coast in a few weeks. I wonder where this came from. Nice capture. I like the purple post work.
