Hi, I am Barbara and live in Lincolnshire. I love nothing better than walking with my 3 dogs, (Large Munsterlanders) and taking the camera along. Iam afraid my photographic skills are not very good, I just point and click & hope for the best. Sometimes I do take some nice shots!!
I have lived with this breed since 1986, before that I had border collies. I was told when getting my first Munster, Jenna, I would become addicted and I sure was, owning 7 of this breed over the years.
Although Munsters are a working gundog, afraid I couldn't shoot anything, so we do other things like, showing, obedience and heelwork to music.
The girls are all different & I hope to show that in their pictures.
I would like to thank my good friend Janeeden for persuading me to get started.
Video's & songs for the girls can be seen on www.jendellas.com

Amazing capture Barbara. I'm glad you had a nice time with your son and his wife. It is a sad comment on society that people are forced to live like this. Its not that there is not enough money around, it is just the rich get richer and poor stay poor. The amount they are planing on spending on the upcoming wedding would build permanent housing for hundreds of people. And that is just 1 small example.

Excellent composition and capture! :) He has a lot of stuff for a man with no where to keep it. :(

The picture makes me very sad. When you see behind all the bags - a lonely man. I think that there are not many people who have offered him help. If you were to ask him about his friends - a shrug in response. ... and yet he is a man - with a story. A pretty picture - it should be able to wake up.

He seems very organised..marvellous pic!

I agree with Jim, that it is sad that so often people like this man are literally ignored. The churches need to step up and reach out to them like they used to do.

some people bring this on themselves to live like this. some live this way because they wish to. and some is force to live like this. this is a very good shot

Choices. A poignant capture of life's realities. He does seem well organized, not tied down by the red tape of society. I see hearts at his feet - there is love for all, after all. Clive

It is sad but I have heard of people that choose to live this way.. well he has his umbrella... Let see no mortgage to worry about, doesn't have to maintain a house and keep up with the Jones next door, pay rates, water bills, power bills internet bills phone bills, insurances, car maintenances and insurances, mmm maybe I could... Great shot Barbara glad you had a good time with your family..

Wonderful that you had a fun time with family! A sad photo but a great character study, of the world's division of wealth. Dana

It seems to be a multi purpose umbrella! Looks like it helps carrying the bags.

I am so torn when I see this image. Has he chosen to live like this? Was this forced on him? Did he just slowly slip into this life? What happened that he ended up here, in this position, at this age? A very poignant photos. Well captured, Santa on hard times.

Fine capture of this gentleman in London. But I wonder who he is an his story...?
