It's been so long since I've been here...when you posted this, I'd just gotten back to Chicago from my sick (and just-passed) father. And I'm sorry I missed jewels like this. I can sort of see "numbers" here, but I declare ignorance of the numbers overall (sorry!) But the image is astonishing. Your surrealism is so surreal, yet so real. Pieces like these evoke the spirits of Tanguy, Miro, Dali and even Magritte---though your shapes are far more complex & organic than Magritte's. And even a little De Chirico. But the image is all yours. After a long viewing, we see that all these organic "things" are tucked into the opening of some large organism---or else into the folds of a large protective pillow or even womb. And you have things projecting out to the 'sky', like towers out of a city. And wonderful modeling & shading, and rich peach-red and brownish-red hues. What a wonderful piece. I do see geometrical curves intersecting, and oh do you make a wonderful compact colony out of these things. All from fractals! Amazing. Another fav.
