This is a super shot. I think I would crop out the orange at the bottom, but thats not a criticism. It's just that the rest of the shot is so darn good it's a shame to have that distraction at the bottom.

I'd be hard pressed to have to pick the best of your two owl photos. I'd thought the close-up was one of the best images of a bird I'd ever seen. Now they're BOTH near the top of the list. :-)

They are wonderful little owls. My husband and I looked all over for them Finally, when we went to the Salton Sea many years ago, we saw one...then two...then more and more...If they are there you WILL see them, if they're not you won't. We loved that day!
