Description
I think this was a coal tender/barge which ran aground just off the beach at Blouberg, Cape Town. They removed all the cargo but the damage meant that they scrapped it. Workers were using cutting torches, something was ignited causing quite a fire.
Robben Island is visible just to the right.

Fascinating! I've been staring at this for quite a while. I keep half expecting to see her roll into the surf. Maybe the next big storm will push her over. Excellent capture!
