190 images now posted.. 10 to go... And do I have an image in store for my 200th.. It is definitely worth that 200th status.. This was my entry in the RDNA horror reflections challenge.. Please click on full size. As she enters the mansion grounds for the first time Alexandra notices on how well they have been kept up throughout the decades, until she gets to the front door.. Then she notices how run down the whole mansion is, which puzzles her so much.. Then she remembers the stories that her grandpa told her about.. The mansion has be vacant since her great grand parents lived and died suddenly in the place.. Since then no one has journeyed into the house, but it is now left up to Alexandra to make the decision on what to do w/ the old place for she is the last living relative left.. As she wonders through the grand ball room she images the big parties, the beauty and elegance of the room in it's heyday.. The grand stair cases wrap around both sides of grand foyer up to the second and third floors w/ massive chandlers hanging from the ceilings.. The custom wood work ran throughout the house.. The white sheets still covered all of the furniture just the way her grandpa told her how he did.. She notices how things have fallen apart and came crashing to the ground.. The squeaks in the floor boards.. Holes in the walls, doors not being able to open up any more.. And going through all of this she thinks what a shame that this place has came to this.. Time just seems to fly by from mid-day to night fall. She just gets lost in the amazement of the whole house. She couldn't even fathom trying to restore this place back to its former glory.. Even though the trust fund has enough money to restore the place totally, no one ever dares to come inside the place.. They do take care of the grounds, the gate house, the gardens and everything else, but no one will dare to venture inside.. They all say the Great Mansion is haunted.. They say the family was brutally murdered.. They say the house is pure evil, but Alexandra doesn't see it.. She doesn't believe it.. She wants to know why.. She now has walked through every room in the house, but then she notices a once hidden passage way behind the massive grandfather clock which is not laying on the floor.. She finds more passageways and crawl spaces that lead throughout the house.. One of them leads to an open attic area.. She is completely surprised on what she sees, someone or something has been living here all this time.. what is going to happen.. maybe just maybe I will continue it.. lol..
