we don't have any cheese stores like this in the U.S.A. Amazing capture. I can see that the cheeses are covered in either mold or ash to keep them fresh. And honestly, they look like stones or rocks. Amazing capture of the different textures too, and the almost monolithic-gray throughout. I know that "fromage" & "formaggio" are related to the English "formed"---meaning a large clump "formed" into a given shape. The "formed" part is so apparent here: Big formed wheels, covered with mold or ash or some other things. It's a very minimalist shot, but very rich. Wonderful work again.
