Description
(with deference to the wonderful "deleterious" posted by skooldaze this evening....)
coincidently, i've been working on this strikingly similar composition and image (even with the use of the scarf prop). i'd considered not posting this. but skooldaze's masterful "deleterious" and this image are different enough that i thought i'd go ahead.
as one looks at this girl, what is mirrored in her face?
portrait render in black and white
stephanie w/bliss texture, alice hair, scarf prop from this site
rendered in poser, post-work in photoshop
thank you for viewing.

Very moving image and I see a sad face from a girl who's had a very hard life. Excellent work.

I don't know about hate, but defiance certainly come to mind. Since the eye line seems to look over the shoulder of the viewer, it would almost seem whatever it is it is behind that. Kinda looks like whatever it is, she'd fight it, if she knew how, but for now, she can only hide.

This is very striking.

I agree, I see no hate, but I do see a very striking image!!! excellent!!

Great job spook. Seems like you're doing some really good stuff at the moment. I like the expression. Whether it is hate, sadness, defiance or whatever, it is well done. In the real world these things aren't always obvious and it is good to give your audience something to think about ;) Well done.

This IS striking and stark, and while I do see as lalverson said, a bit of defiance, I also get a strong sense of detest and the grainy black and white really seems to drive this home and... excellent work...

After studying this portrait for quite a while, I do see how the title fits. Her tight lips and cold stare suggest to me the confident abhorrence she must be feeling upon facing someone who has wronged her. Excellent Work!

This is a stunning image. Why the name?
