alone... reminds me of my thoughts this morning. My Wife noticed our bird is back in our parking lot at work... it comes and goes. I started seeing this bird little over two years ago. it was with two other geese. then, there was just one and he/she hung around - I later found out one of the birds had been run over. So, the bird that's been all alone cause it's mate died is a trip... the first 6 months it would not leave our parking lot, I thought maybe it's wing was broke... one day, I walked by him and tried to sound like a bird and by doing so, a bird a couple blocks away heard me and called back, the bird perked up and flew off.. It hung around this time last year and it just came back little over a week ago... I was thinking yesterday what I should name it, but it's always been bird.... My Wife saw it today and said theres the lonely bird - so, I thought of the old song "Lonely Girl" and put bird there instead... that's how my day started and that's the birds name now.
