Description

Heya Jules! Sorry this one wasn't waiting, took a little longer than I thought, but wasn't finished. This is what I thought of when I read the story you wrote for me. I hope you like it! Hope you feel better, sweetie and keeping my fingers crossed and my thoughts and prayers your way! **** This one is one of Mihrelle's girls for the face, Emilia, and two of Val's textures Noir for the nails and Narelle for the skin/makup. The outfit, part keeper of Dreams - corset/blouse and then painted the skirt.. the roses are brushes as are the swirls. The hair started with Keeper of Dreams hair and Shox textures.. and then I painting in what I wanted to add. The colors of this shox set are so pretty! Cloth painting is such an interesting challenge and one I need more practice with. I was going to put in a sky, but then decided I liked the burgandy. Suggestions, critique, comments.. I'm so happy for all of them. thank you guys for the favorites on my last.. I truly appreciate it! I will try to get caught up on comments! I had company last week and then work, it's been a busy, busy time.

Fascinating Vigenette. I'm not certain but I think she appears to be one of those who exsanguinate people by night. Either way, this has the look and feel of something Poe to it. Very Well Done.

It's always a pleasure to see the typical "Delaney-framing"! It's as important for your scenes as the content itself, and I always love it... :) This view is beautiful, love the details with the house and how you've painted the skirt. Marvelous result! I'm not so sure about the girl's expression, this horrified "Ooops! look doesn't go quite smoothly together with the rest of the image... But as I've understood, you have illustrated a story written to you, so maybe there is a key... :) Lovely image, my friend! Vashek

I think you did a good job of her dress, Delaney! I love how it hugs her legs in the grass, the way a real cloth would. Not a bad job of the grass either. But that pool of .... what I assume is blood, has me curious to read this story. hug - Matt

the layout is the best of this... then the house design/color... then the rose set up with lights and darks really make these flowers look the best that they can. I'm a fan of light colors on black and this looks fantastic.... I think if you could put some highlights in the grass and dress, this would look even better - really a sweet picture as it is though.

Good to see a post from you, Delaney, and an especially lovely one, too! This has a wonderful "Mucha" look to it, but with your own special touch. A lovely work of art, my friend!

I have to look at it in full view to really appreciate it. Kudos to the skirt painting, how it drapes lower than the framing and the folds are fantastic, such lovely master work and you definitely have a vision of how your art will look like when it's finished. That is quite a talent and is visible throughout your gallery!

Just beautifully done. The image is so gothic fairy tale. Excellent poses and expression. Your cloth painting is excellent. The folds and shades came out very realistic. The cloth texture is also convincing. Great framing.
