Description

The seed pods have dried open and now it is time to jump! I do not know what the tree is, I will have to ask a friend the next time I see her. I am intrigued by the odd painting/blur/smudge effect on the pod and the leaves behind. This is what it looks like from the camera. My usual postwork of crop, colour and levels had no input in this regard. I usually shoot with a aperture f-stop, f5 in this case. Maybe it was movement blur, given the slower shutter speed? Who knows, I do like the painted effect though! Clive

This is superb...amazing...and any other adjective you can think to insert in terms of describing this shot! I love the colors and I must say this is new to me; I've never seen seeds like those: they remind me of ancient, clay pots with wax stoppers in them. I love the title and the implied conversation between seeds in the various pods, and for what it's worth the top-most seed in the pod of the right looks like it wants to stay put for a while longer.
