My name? Eric den Biesen, a Canadian of Dutch ancestry. I'm 46 years young, though I sometimes feel MUCH older. I generally like to model in trueSpace, though I'm learning Carrara and Hexagon as well. Not much free time for it, so anything I'm building progresses REAL slowly. :( I like to illustrate my tales of the Imperium with Poser and/or Bryce, or that story's prequel, Siren's Song, the story of the Human/Mer first Contact. Neither story is more than outline, and bits are told through the pics I do. And because it's fun, of course. :)

Is this a warhammer thing?

Yes, the Reaver Titan is Imperial and one of three classes of Titan. This one has the most refs, though I might try a Warhound at some point. :)

ah jezz :) there's no way I can talk you into doing an Emperor class titan is there?
Greywolf Starkiller
Doubt it. There are even fewer refs of the Emperor class than there are of WH40K starships. The Reaver has the most refs, with the Warhound a close second, and no matter how good, (or not), I may get at modeling, I still need LOTS of refs. :) Eric

very interesting. i'm totally unfamiliar with the source, but it looks impressive. looking up images, it seems to be a fairly complex model.

It is. I followed a WIP thread on one of the Warhammer forums. She built and painted the actual model, posting LOTS of 'in progress' pics of the process. Needless to say, I grabbed every pic. :) It'll likely take as long to do the digital model, as it took her to do the physical one. ^_-
