Thank you:) I have a really old book..printed back in the 1890's where the photos of people look like they had been slightly retouched with pen and ink for contrast...thats the look i was trying to get.

Thank you for the comment:) It takes place after a future period of glaciation when people have both lost and abandoned a great deal of the technology we now use. The world has changed significantly, the national boundaries of today no longer exist and what we take for granted now is for them little more than legend and myth. The young man in the portrait is the protagonist of my story...a nice young man who gets into a lot of trouble.
