Description

This is an old capture I took a few years ago when I was in Broceliande, the french magic wood where Merlin is supposed to be buried, somewhere... (Actually the poor wizard 's graveyard has become a total attraction for tourists who come and throw little pieces of paper and make a wish... But I didn't have the chance to get to see his grave adn all the mess they made around it.) Broceliande is a huge forest that is directly linked to the Arthurian legend and all its myth... I was there on a rainy day of winter... But it wasn't very cold, just terribly wet. I can remember following a river near a place called "nothing land" (true! Broceliande is full of places with freaky and scary names)... I was thirsty so I tasted it: water was slightly sweet and very nice to drink. There is something extremely peaceful and beautiful about this sacred wood... If you travel to France make sure to visit Broceliande, you won't regret it :) Have a nice weekend, Elisabeth

This is lovely. I've taken many walks in forest on rainy days and this is what gives it it's mood. I also like the small tree in the middle, well done my friend. GW

Wonderful capture and motif, Elisabeth. Love the Arthurian legends. This photo hums of magic. What a fantastic place. Maybe the blueish glow on the leaves or something like that.
