Description

Well, sort of an Animal photo. I'm working on my photo gallery of late partially because I promised several visitors that I would show off more of my photography. And also because my 'computer room' has been commandeered these last week-and-a-halfs so and my rendering system is disconnected right now. That situation should be remedied in the next few days though. I took this shot from my front stoop a few months ago. It had snowed the night before and left the front in this rather pristine state save for the kitty paws so perfectly rendered. We leave a little bit of kibble out every night for the neighbourhood cats. This started a few years back when we received a flyer concerning a cat named Weston. Weston was missing and his owners were hoping someone may have seen him in our area. Alas we never saw Weston but in the event he was around, a free plate of kibble might attract him. That was the theory anyways. Well, the kibble did attract someone but not Weston - who apparently found his way home a few days later. And from that time forward we've left food out for the kitties that wander the streets at night. Call us socialists if you will. There is one quite cheeky Russian Blue with bright yellow eyes that frequents us regularly. I occasionally see him sitting on our stoop in the late evening waiting for his supper. He can be quite charming (and demanding) and he even once stole his way through my front door when I was not looking. "Oh, never mind dear fellow, I'll help myself". I am dedicating this photo to Jane (JaneEden). Jane is a great lover of cats and is brilliantly skilled in placing some of her best friends seamlessly into Poser based adventures. Her work is adorable and never fails to charm.

we left food as well here in spain but we also helped on sterilising them because if it gets too much they shoot the cats or even poison them brings me always in a rage.

very cute and good. and yes i think you are a great animal lover to put food out for all of the hungry kitties out there. you are probly saving a few in the snow when there is nothing for them to eat. love you for it. i can not because it draws cayotoes and they kill the cats and the neighbors dogs and cats.

Clayton, this is a superb dedi for a wonderful lady and dear friend. It is so kind of you to put food out for stray animals, especially during the winter.

You only had one visitor this night so he was probably very pleased to get a titbit. A lovely gesture from you and I bet you are popular. An excellent photo for Jane.

What a great image for Jane! The cats in her stories are always off getting into adventures, which is undoubtedly what the maker of these prints is doing. I feed cats too. I have three inside cats, and two outside cats, and I feed various others including a neighbor cat who comes by for the extra meal. Excellent capture and story. I like the simplicity of the snow covered path, with barely seen curves, blue lights, and the track of paw prints.
