Description

Not super happy with it.. wanted to do a bit of a sci-fi-fantasy mix.. My two favourite genres mixed into one.. ish.. If I can be assed I might re-do it sometime when I get a proper dragon model.. these ones are just a brush and it looks iffy.. Also this was more or less and excuse to use The Land by Andi and myself aswell.. I keep forgetting old stuff like that but I quite like it still :) I do enjoy this landscape format thing tho.. :) I am now also on Youtube btw :p http://www.youtube.com/user/ArtOfJenni

I like the depth and emotion in this Jen, but it probably would be a bit better with a proper 3D dragon in there.

It's an awesomely emotive image. Only crit I have it the depth of field is off. What I do if i'm going to fake it instead of render it is select the area, then feather it out to about 50-60, then soften. Seems to give as more realistic blur. And yeah, the dragon might be still a bit too crisp. He'd probably be blurrier that far away with the DoF you've set the rest of the image. Definitely a VERY cool image though. Your stuff always makes me want to do renders for something other than work :)

Well if your not super happy, I sure am. I love that the focus is on your main characters as the action fades out in the back. You know she's safe now. Great colour, light, poses and detail.

But this is gorgeous Jenni, love the scifi-fantasy scene and adore the depth of field in your images, excellent job :)
