Description

The busy Interstate 5 Freeway, captured 3/10/08, looking both east and west from atop an overpass, within walking distance of my archetypical abode. Much better viewed full size. This artery runs up and down the West Coast of the USA, all the way from the Mexican Border to Canada. It's a work day, and in a few hours this becomes bumper-to-bumper traffic. Auf wiedersehen, thankx for tuning in, and for any and all favs and complimentary comments.

Really different and very cool pics, Harry. They seem to progress to faster vehicles as you go down....the lights are awesome.

I've been on that freeway many times, when I lived near Sacramento, but not that far south. I think we would cut off somewhere around Bakersfield and head over to I40 when we were going to visit my family in Louisiana. That was a long drive and the longest part of it was going across the state I live in now. Terrific images. Nice light and motion. I like the first and the third best. What are those circles on the road?

I've driven the entire length of it in various trips; never the whole way all at one go, though. Excellent shots here, the sky colours are lovely, and you got really cool light trails! Well done, Harry!

These are GREAT shots Harry. Love 'em all! I've always wanted to take photo's from on top of a bridge, in the evening with all the headlights and tail lights; in the rain would even be better, cuz then you'd have that glare!

This is a wonderful collage Harry. I especially enjoyed the brake light blurs and the big blor on the left side of #4. Outstanding my friend. Dana

Very nice collage Harry. But that traffic I have seen far too much of over the last 10 days:) Yesterday we reached Bakersfield on Route 99, turned east onto Route 58, drove over the beautiful Tehachapi Pass and stayed overnight at the RV Park in the middle of Edwards Air Force Base.
