Description
Took this on a trip to California. Not sure the year maybe some of you auto experts can give me a hand with the year. I am guessing 1937 but I wasn't around quite yet then. :)
I hope you all have a great weekend.

Looking at the top part of the grill it shows to be a 1936 chevy pickup, But no matter what year it is you got a great shot of it !! [^__^] Cheers, Roger

beauitful rusty scene :)

Lovely vinatage auto. Really like how you took the shot, it looks almost shot up in some gangster scene the way the doors hang a bit, but then the lovely rust! Great work!

Yup, that Chevy does look about circa 1936 to 1938, Lynell. And I was around during that period...a youngster, admittedly, but I was around then. And, yes, a very cool foto and a very apt title! I can just picture it back then with a bunch of rifle-toting rednecks aboard.

A very nice capture, those rust and textures are there to stay. Thanks for sharing!

An excellent image of this vintage truck...wasted away by rust The palm trees make me think it is on a tourist island...the owner finally got it home it and there it sits..Rusting away....... Love the title....great image as well Am a lil depressed.......son and his girlfriend came by to visit today...I cried so after he left........I know it's time to let go..but I miss him so bad....and not sure if I am going to be able to live here...I may lose the phone, internet service and tv......if I do I will go bonkers........I am not well enough to move but may have to...Have lived here going on 13 yrs this Feb..........would hate to leave......and rent went down to $40 a month...now if I could just make the rest...say a prayer I can Hugs Your sis Susan~

Oh, she looks like she would have been a striking beauty once upon a time. Sad to see her so neglected as this. Love the contrasting colours in this scene.
