Description

Yesterday I went out to Hat Rock State Park to walk around and take pictures when I ran across this older couple out fishing. I stopped and talked to them for a couple of minutes to see how it was going. then I ask them if they would mind if I took their picture. The man said I get a share of the profits and then I couldn't resist I said buddy look at yourself no one will pay to see a picture of you. lol they got a good laugh out of that and then they let me take their picture. I didn't get their name so I think I will call them bob and mary, they look like a bob and mary couple me haha. I hope you like them Randy

Well done on getting the shot! It's great to see a photographer actually communicating with his subject instead of just 'sneaking a photo' I'm not a huge fan of these stock 'PhotoCHOP' filters but thats just me!

I find this couple class. As familiar to old age. Herrlich. I want to be together with my man age. Only we will not go fishing but rock concerts until we fall over. Rock on JulySun (Whether fishing or rock does not matter .... The main thing to do together what!)

This is super Randy and I love the fact that they look to have brought their own chairs when there is an empty bench beside them!

Its great that you stopped and talked to them. But I think just taking the picture first makes for a more natural pose. Now in this case you got that, but in a lot of cases once someone knows you are taking their photo first thing they do is want to pose. So shot and then ask questions later next time lol If they throw a fishing pole your way duck quick. Nice work, and like the added effect.

Really nice image but they don't look close to the water. You've captured their concentration very well. I like the post work.
