Description

I shot this bird when it was just standing there. Then as I started the truck up it took off and I grasp my camera and took many shots. i was happy they came out sharp but the bird was almost off the shots I took. I like this one the best as he was landing to get into the hunting pose again. Those is cypress trees in the back ground . I did crop the image but thought some of the trees needed to be there to show the wildness of this place. of course I in my truck on a grave road. lake martin is run by the oil company's.

he is a lovely heron my niece had one sitting on her pool one day and she took a picture it looked like this guy/gal? she said it was called a blue heron but this fellow has many colors what a great shot jocko The shot of the year ::
