Description

Den Haag (The Hague) is a city that is full of examples of 19th century architecture... and proud of it. Buildings are maintained pretty good. This is the Bankasquare, behind my house... Great in spring and summer with flowers and water.. Houses were build around 1885 On the far left a block of houses from the 1950's A V2 Rocket from the Germans fell down.. and destroyed some houses and many lifes.

This is a great capture of this lovely area Chris, and it is something to be proud of to keep the buildings in good condition and the past alive. So sad about the German rocket damaging so much and taking lives.

Het onvolprezen Bankaplein, links op de hoek zit mijn huisarts, heb een paar jaar op het Nassauplein gewoond, 4-hoog tussen het Dames-lees-museum en de Mexicaanse Ambassade
