Description

Okay, so this is my latest working with Lux Render from poser. Thought I'd do a closeup portrait. Render Time = 18 hrs. 36 Minutes. Minor Postwork in Photoshop. Still not where I want to be on the skin tones, but I'm experamenting and getting closer. I like the definition and the way Lux works with objects though. I need to try something challanging for my next go round.

The best way to learn to it poke around the setting. But at 18 hours render time, it is going to be challenging. I generally do small renders at final render settings until I am happy with the light. Then get down to the full render.

I almost started up a copy of the renderer but never made it... so I don't know anything about settings/setup. But the left hand highlights is getting nice, coming through. It's unfortunate that the render times are so lengthy. It would be nice if they had a forum to get suggestions on speeding up that time required so that you could experiment more. And thank you for your comments on my last post, well put.
