Thanks for the peek folks, nice in full view. PLEASE READ
I was going to upload this yesterday but after 2 hours work on it, just about to render..daz decide to ask me to wait for a moment, then CRASHED...then asked me to submit a bug report...lost the lot, so tonight i have had to redo it all..surprise, surprise no crash !!!.
Now this begs an interesting question to all daz users....do any of you get this as well ?, especially as it seems to happen on a regular, though not often, basis. I think there is a bug built into daz that does this, then submits some information to daz about the prog users details or habits or even what is in the runtimes...ooo X FILES stuff....or is it just me, i wonder? and i would be interested to find out if anyone else has experienced this, especially as it never did that in version 2.
Could it be to find out if you have shared software, who knows ?

nice work my friend..and I don't know I don't use daz much anymore although I downloaded and tried daz 4..but.... eh... don't know if I like it yet. I think i'll stick with poser 7. and yes it did crash on me when I was using it.

Beautiful render my friend, I am happy you managed to get it finally :-) Anyway, about Daz crashes, it seldom happened to me earlier and it NEVER happens to me with my new computer ;-)

Excellent work, again! I do use DAZ- some problems- but not what you have experienced. I hope someone can help!

My version of DAZ always choked when reading content. This has been corrected with a new installation. Only the program - the database was still intact. Now I use a new machine and DAZ3 - without problems. But if adopted after 5 months (!!!!!!) Render time VUE - I get annoyed a bit! LOL The picture is never finished! LOL blah-blah-Blahhhh Now to your work, very briefly: Fantastic! LOL

Fantastic work! Since I moved to a more powerful machine, I've been using the 64-bit version of DAZ and have had little if any problems.

fantastic image

Fantastic image, very dramatic. I'm no fan of any of daz's software, they are all buggie and temperamental.

Very nice image Ian.. well done even if for the second time Grr don't talk to me about Daz crashes It happens quite often, It can get hung up then shuts down with a bug report.. The other thing it does is crashes it seems if there is some content with a error in it.. some times I have to reinstall the item then its fine.. Did try to post a bug report once but it was such a rigmarole to do it, had to log on and answer all sorts of things I didn't have any idea about so I didn't bother in the end.. I have the latest daz 3.1 on tried to install the beta of daz 4 and it just wont even bring up the install screen go figure.. so if this is any example of daz 4 I think Ill stick to 3.1 Also have poser 7 and it crashes more regular than daz..

Never tried DAZ so I can't answer that question. Great work on this, Ian!

Fantastic work!!

I found early versions of Daz unpredicable and memory hungry. Daz 3 Advanced and my new mchine are only troubled when I give it too much to chew on. I empathize with you on losing work though and even did a post to express it called WARNING. All about saving our work. Rule is, always save before rendering.

Amazing scene Ian!! Sorry that you had to redo the image =(

Right, as far as Daz goes: I used it once then moved over to Poser so I can't comment on that in particular. However, I did used to have similar issues with Poser 7. Sometimes hitting the render button was like playing a game of Russian Roulette! BUT I have discovered that the more memory you have in your computer, the less crashes you get with it. Also, since switching to Poser2010, had very little problems. One thing I did learn to do was SAVE my work BEFORE hitting the render button - just in case. Then you could always just reload the scene and try again, maybe after some tweaking. Anyhow, I hope you get it sorted... Now, onto the image. A great version of the seer of Delphi :) I like how you've got her blindfolded. Great stuff.
