This is a real beauty in so many different ways. First, it seems to me that four orders of symmetry is exactly the right geometric balance. Second, you have a very intricate tiling pattern but the coloring gradient offsets the components in such a way that they are individually distinct. I am reminded of a very well done stained glass window. Excellent work!
