Description

This has a bit of a story to it. I woke up early Sunday morning and went for a walk. These icicles were on the corner of a house and I couldn't pass up the shot. Just as I was taking the last one, the owner drove up and busted me. He didn't look too happy, but I just waved and was on my way. I mean, how dangerous can a woman with a camera be??? lol More dangerous would be standing UNDER these things!! ps--here's some ice for your drink, Andrew!!

Cheers! Yeah I was wondering what would happen if you stood underneath one and it fell off. So what's the secret to getting any sleep in this weather....3 layers of PJ's..........electric blanket.....a few regular blankets..........central heating?

LOL! Women wearing flip-flops and carrying cameras are considered armed and dangerous! I thought by now that you had learned not to take photos on sacred and sacrosanct soil, or on the second floor of restaurants. Otherwise, a cool, or should I say a freezing, capture of the icy fingers running up and down the spine, Marilyn!

Way cool! :) People are so suspicious. I once had a friend say she didn't want to do something because she didn't want it to go in her permanent record. I said, "You don't HAVE a permanent record!" Seriously ... what on earth happens in some people's minds?? (She was in her late 50s when she said that ... it's not like she was a teenager or something!)

Of course now I've got that song stuck in my head... Don't ya hate it when you get busted? I usually just stand there, get a goony look on my face(goonier than usual anyway) and say in my best loopy voice, "Hi, would you like to beee my friend?" It works like a charm at freaking them out. Of course if they say "yes", you're screwed. Then you have to come up with some evasive Jim Rockford move...Hmmmmm, like the other day when I was making a picture of this dark blue Oldsmobile... Anyway, I love this shot and it was well worth the drama. The ice is so thin and long it looks frozen hair, or perhaps dead spaghetti that missed the trash can and fell out the window. Or maybe...I'm going to go now and take my pills.
