Better days in the past I'm sure - a shame more modern construction design is often so cold and barren.

What a shame this building has been let go this, we don't build buildings like this any more, and that's a crime. good to see your still with us. Geoff.

"There is always room at the top !" - let's hope, that this gets restored again to the old-fashioned beauty, it once was ? BB

What an architectural masterpiece, even in it's current, less-than-spiffy state. The Czech Republic is really busy cleaning up and restoring buildings like this, and it's rather funny to see classic architecture with satellite dishes sprouting from their roofs like strange mushrooms!) I really love the POV of this shot and the overall color as well. I get a sense of warmth from it, as well as a kind of moist chill, as if the picture was taken on a cool, but humid day. I love that tiara on top! In short, this is a masterful shot and I'd love to see inside this building as well. One of the first buildings I lived in in Prague was a dull, gray cube of a place with a courtyard in the middle, and an enclosed passageway that served as the entrance hall (when the landlord wasn't busy parking his car in it and unloading things from the trunk.) For weeks, I'd thought that the enclosed passage was initially a part of the building's interior, when in actuality it was just...well...that odd sort of Czech stuff that doesn't really fit into any preconceived category. Funny how this shot brings all of that back, but then it's not surprising. This is really super! Incredibly elegant, as I've come to expect from you.
