Description
Second in my Dogwood series, this is a fully grown Flowering Dogwood (wild) in my pasture. It had room to grow to its natural shape even though a smaller version grew to one side. I feel very lucky to have this wonderful beauty so close. The mature woods behind it have full grown oak, hickory, poplar, and other trees for comparison. We mow this pasture 2-3 times a year and other than that do no grounds maintenance. I think I will cut down the small cedar that now grows at the Dogwood's base though, it can get large and destroy the shape of the tree.

This looks fabulous and how wonderful to have this in your property. A shame to have to take out the little cedar but it really would spoil this beautiful tree. A superb capture.
