Description

Jasmine has found this hole in the bank & is convinced something lives down there. I have to agree with her & I think it is a fox. She wanted Zlata to check it out & did ask her if she would go down & take a look, as Zlata would be able to go deeper in than her. I am so glad Zlata wasn't keen & told Jasmine she had better not as she may get lost. I told them both I think that there could be a mother & cubs down there so we had best leave it well alone. I think I heard Zlata sigh with relief but she did then tell Jasmine she would if she really wanted her too. She knew I wouldn't let her though so she was quite safe :o) Thanks for all the lovely comments & favs, so, so appreciated. xxxx

Very interesting hole! locally a man lost one of his Jack Russels and though it must have escaped what he thought was his safe garden. But when builders started work near his bottom fence to build him an outbuilding they excavated a fox den which had seven fox skeletons and one terrier skeleton. It must have been some fight!

Lovely collage of their little adventure, I see Jasmine is determined to get to the bottom of this adventure and so glad Zlata didn't go down she might have got eaten by the fox..lol..

Oh my!! The excitement!! Poor Jasmine must've been beside herself when you said NO to going down the hole!! Good thing little Murphy wasn't there, he would've shot down it so fast!!! At the Hollow, it's woodchuck holes that interest the boys to know end! We try to discourage it as woodchucks can do quite a bit of damage with those great big front teeth they have, much like rabbits and rats .. those cutting teeth that make them such efficient eaters of vegetation.
