Hey try being on a front porch and having a skunk walk up the steps happened to me one night when we were staying in a cabin in the mountains here, I about freaked out, I was alone and didn't know what to do so I just stayed as quiet as I could he was after a bowl of crackers I had been snaking on. After a while I hit my hand against the wall slightly hoping to scare him off and it did the trick whewwww and I went in and pour myself a glass of wine. LOL nice photo and caption Mike.

Great catch Mike! Big fluffy tail. South Florida squirrels have skimpy tails. I guess with the warm winters - maybe they don't hibernate. Dana

Yeah, you better hope he runs away instead of toward you... Squirls love nuts ya know and you're a big one with a couple of them - lol

He doesn't really look as if he is scared of you. We don't have squirrels here so I think you are lucky to have this little fellow visit you.
