Description

Large lander for "Solar System Explorer Endurance." Inspired by the Eagle spacecraft from the 1907's TV show "Space:1999." The design actually started out as one of rj001's meshes that I did numerous alterations to. This image is the last in this project to be posted on Renderosity. More images of the "Endurance, Herschel, and Sagan will be posted on my hobby website at http://www.dcmstarships.com sometime next month. Thanks everybody for all the supportive comments on this project! I really appreciate it.

I'm in awe of the detail you're putting into these, this is absolutely amazing work. I also like the way it's made up of components that look to have been mass-produced and then assembled. I can't help but think that at least for a while that will be the way we do it out there. Very inspiring work!

Excellent modeling David, I really like this series showing all this detail and knowing that this ship is scaled for a small crew rather then the large scale that I see you do. This is some of your best work to date in my opinion! Cheers, David
